AFTER HOURS CHECKINS:

In case you arrive after hours or more than 2 hours after your scheduled checkin, we will leave the keys for you in a lockbox on the front door.  The code to open it is 0430.  

 

WHAT TO PACK

You can find almost anything you will need here in Tulum, although you may not want to spend your time shopping.  We recommend you bring or buy the following things to enhance your time here:

1.  Sunscreen - You can also buy it here if needed

2.  Flashlight - In case you go for a walk at night, this comes in handy.  Tulum doesn’t have street lights in all areas and some roads don’t have walkways.

3.  Swimsuit - There are some great boutiques on the beach, but the selection can be limited and expensive

 

WHAT NOT TO PACK

1. Hair dryer - We can provide for you

2. Towels and sheets - Available at the property

3. High heels - You won’t need them in the sand!

 

Driving Directions: 

Take the Highway 307 south. We are about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Airport. You will pass the cities of Playa del Carmen and Akumal. You will see signs for a park called Xel-Ha. When you drive pass the entrance to Xel-Ha, look at your odometer and exactly 3.5 Km pass Xel-Ha you will see a sing on either side of the road that Says Oscar & Lalo Restaurant. The large restaurant palapa is on your right. Our entrance is directly across from this restaurant but the highway is divided there so you will need to go about 500 meters and make a U-turn. Again, you will see a large Oscar & Lalo Restaurant sing and a sing for the Jashita Hotel this is the entry for Casa Playa Maya. Turn right and continue to follow this road through the natural wild bird reserve. When you come to a ´"T" in the road, turn right, drive about 1/2 kilometer and you will see our sing on the left (beach) side of the road.
